An important role IIEI serves, other than certifying the proficiency of professionals, is in establishing and supporting a worldwide network of local chapters where members can interface with other import/export professionals. Your membership opens the door to this growing network.
In addition to Local Chapters, IIEI has developed the IIEI JobNet, an on-line placement clearinghouse. If a member company is seeking an import-export professional to fill a position, they simply have to log into the IIEI JobNet to find qualified candidates. (IIEI Certification is not a prerequisite, however, non-certified members will be listed separately.) Member companies post job openings for international trade professionals on IIEI JobNet as well.
In addition to the IIEI JobNet, the IIEI Registry was established as a directory of organizations and businesses with international interests.
Members also benefit from IIEI’s many other affiliations, including special arrangements with the International Trade Association to offer special privileges and discounts to our members. IIEI provides members with an interface to federal, state and local trade organizations.
