Export Compliance Specialist/Coordinator

Location:  Huntsville, AL

A. Ensure compliance with US export law and regulations:

i.International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), regulated by US Dept. of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls)

ii.Export Administration Regulations (EAR), regulated by Dept. of Commerce, Bureau of Industrial Security

iii.Maintain complete and current knowledge of ITAR/EAR regulations

iv.Develop and implement local compliance procedures in alignment with corporate policies and procedures

v.Screen proposed exports for compliance

vi.Screen export license applications

B.Act as the focal point for export compliance questions for facilities

C.Develop and teach periodic training sessions on export compliance

D. Liaison with Corporate security function
