COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
NEW ROLE!

Job Summary:   Implement a brand new trade compliance program for large automobile manufacturer at their newest start-up facility.  This position will be the go-to person for all trade compliance issues.  Great opportunity- Great Benefits!

Reports to: Accounting/Finance Manager

Location:  Indiana

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Institute and lead a formal import compliance program
• Develop and implement internal compliance manual
• Conduct internal training to company employees
• Implement C-TPAT at this new facility
• Build a department as necessary
• Coordinate with customs brokers to file entries in accordance with CBP guidelines
• Work with related entities/shared services as necessary
• Develop compliance procedures and policies
• Create database of HTS-classify all imported parts and machinery
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance
• Qualify components for NAFTA eligibility
  

Qualifications Required:

• Experience within auto industry preferred
• Experience managing a trade compliance program
• Extensive knowledge of US Customs Laws, Rules and Regulations
• Experience in verifying goods for NAFTA eligibility
• U.S. Brokers license REQUIRED
• Bachelors Degree
