Course Description: This course provides an understanding of the current, practical, knowledge of documentation needed by those involved in exporting from or importing.  The course perspective is from the point of view of the need for documentation that moves cargo, satisfies government requirements, and is used for international payments between countries.

• Interpret the documentation responsibilities of the exporter 

Export Compliance

• Evaluate the issue of export compliance
• Explain the importance of maintaining compliance documentation

Commercial Documents: Invoice and Packing List

• Understand how to prepare commercial documents for export purposes

Transportation Documents – Seminar Three

• Identify how to prepare the various logistics related documents for export 

Government Documentation Requirements

• Prepare legal documents for export

Special Documentation Requirements 

• Illustrate how to prepare special need documents

Documentation Communication

• Discuss the communication value of export documentation
